As a lover of all things local and Durham, I was ecstatic to find out about Shop Durham card in 2018. For those of you not familiar, you purchase a Shop Durham card for $15, and you can use the card (repeatedly) at participating small businesses to redeem various perks throughout the year.

Earlier this month, we had our annual Cool People Christmas Party, and I curated (mostly) local NC goods for the cheeseboard.
