Hi, friends! March was a rough month for me mentally, and I didn’t read a whole lot. I watched some TV and scrolled on my phone, but otherwise, I don’t remember what I did. My reading list is a little bit all over the place but I read a couple of really good books.

What I Read in February 2021

Hi, friends! I don’t know about you but I don’t read quite as much when I have a TV show I am watching. Recently, we have been watching The Sopranos (on HBO) most evenings, but somehow I managed to read six books in a short month! I read some GREAT books in February and am excited to share my thoughts with you.

Favorite Books by Black Authors

Hi, friends! It is always my goal to read diverse books, which means reading books authored by people with various lived experiences. For Black History Month, I wanted to share some of my favorite books by Black authors. If you are looking for new recommendations, I hope this blog hope is helpful for you. For the sake of readability, I am not including every book I’ve read by a Black author in this post (because there are a lot of great Black authors and a lot of great books written by Black authors) so check out my Bookshop for an even longer list (some I loved but didn’t include in the list because I need to re-read them before I can write a paragraph of my thoughts).

What I Read in January 2021

Hi, friends! Now that January is almost over, I am sharing my thoughts on everything I read this month. I don’t know exactly why, but January is always my strongest month when it comes to reading.
